Marliese Warren

Marliese Warren, the founder of Essential Acupuncture, utilizes acupuncture, herbs, essential oils, and nutrition and lifestyle counseling to treat a wide range of illnesses. She has been a licensed practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2000 and has treated over 1200 patients in both private and city funded community clinic settings.

Her philosophy is to proactively involve her clients in the healing process. She believes that the human body naturally wants to be in a state of health and that we have the innate ability to heal ourselves. As a practitioner of holistic medicine, Marliese works to give her clients simple tools to gain and maintain optimal health. She assists her clients by helping them to see the imbalances in their lives that lead to illness and helps them to correct those imbalances through acupuncture, herbs, and patient education.

Marliese earned her graduate degree in Chinese medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and holds both California and National licenses to practice acupuncture and herbology.

Through additional post-graduate coursework and apprenticeship, she has honed her practice by specializing in several areas: sports injuries, pain, infertility, and women's health, especially pregnancy-related symptoms.
